ACTIPRO teaching veterinarians of tomorrow

Actipro recently presented advanced animal feed technologies at the Polytechnic School of Agricultural Engineering in Zaragoza. Technical Sales Manager Jordi Ysamat Faus highlighted VEOS’s 50-year expertise in converting food industry by-products into high-value nutritional products for animal feed, addressing significant environmental challenges.

Students learned about the benefits of spray-dried porcine plasma, which enhances piglet diets with high-quality, digestible protein and strengthens immune systems as an effective antibiotic alternative. The presentation also covered the use of spray-dried porcine hemoglobin in salmonid diets and as a colorant in pet food.

We extend our gratitude to Professor Joaquín Carlos Surra Muñoz and all participating students for their valuable engagement. At Actipro, fostering future-focused education in innovative, sustainable animal nutrition is our unwavering commitment.
